 walk on **Saturday\, March 14 at 8:30am**. The warm weather that accompani
 es our yearly “false spring” is here and it should be a beautiful day at t
 he park. The March nature walk will be led by volunteer State Parks Docent
  Joe Lundergreen\, a certified California Naturalist who delights in shari
 ng his knowledge of the natural habitats found in the park and the folklor
 e that relates to the land. The walk will begin at 8:30am and will last be
 tween 1-1/2 and two hours. The route taken on the walk will depend on the 
 weather and the condition of the trails. There is no charge for the guided
  nature walk and parking is free for those attending. No pets are permitte
 d on the park trails which pass through a protected Natural Preserve. Brin
 g binoculars and meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for time to experience 
 the early morning wildlife that can be found in the Ranch House and Barn c
 omplex yard – the walk will begin at 8:30am. Sturdy shoes\, a hat and wate
 r are recommended. Everyone is invited to take a walk in the park\, learn 
 about what this Lake County jewel has to offer\, and experience the benefi
 ts of getting out into nature. Anderson Marsh State Historic Park is locat
