 on Saturday\, April 25th at 8:00 AM for a special Earth Day edition of Rid
 e the Rio. This month\, our community stewardship cruise will serve as the
  official kickoff to the AZ(LAND) Tierra Madre Earth Day Celebration! The 
 Route: We will meet at the Tempe Center for the Arts pedestrian bridge at 
 8:00 AM and enjoy a relaxed\, scenic group ride down to the Rio Salado Hab
 itat Restoration Area (Central Ave). It is about a 1-hour ride each way\, 
 arriving just in time for the festival gates to open at 9:00 AM. The Desti
 nation: The ride ends right at the Tierra Madre Earth Day celebration! Aft
 er we ride\, stick around to enjoy: 🍉 Complimentary food and refreshments
  🛍️ Mercado Tonalli (local vendors\, artists\, and handcrafted goods) 🎭 
 Teatrico AZ(LAND) live performances and workshops 🌿 The City Nature Chall
 enge The Return Ride: We will hang out\, eat\, and enjoy the festival toge
 ther for a few hours. For those who want to ride back as a group\, we will
  do a casual\, mass-exodus ride back to Tempe Town Lake at 11:30 AM (about
  a 1-hour ride). However\, you are completely free to stay at the festival
  as long as you'd like and head back on your own schedule! This is not a r
 ace—it's a joyful\, intergenerational cruise to reconnect with Onk Akimel 
 (the Salt River) and our community. Bring your bike\, some water\, a frien
 d\, and a backpack if you plan to shop the local vendor market! Let’s ride
